EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a form of emotional acupuncture but without the needles. It involves tapping on recognised acupressure points around your body, whilst tuning into the issue that's bothering you.
Einstein said that ALL matter is made of energy and that includes us. Acupuncture and other meridian therapies recognise this and work towards treating the root cause of physical and emotional problems, rather than just the symptom.
EFT’s philosophy is that the cause of all our negative emotions is due to a disruption in the body’s energy system. Our unresolved negative emotions go on to contribute to our physical pain and illness. It makes sense that stress can make an existing condition worsen.
For example, everyone has experienced a problem or an unpleasant incident in their lives (it’s impossible to avoid). But the same incident can affect two people very differently. Take the example of a car accident, two people in the same car, could go on to have very different experiences. Perhaps for one, after the initial shock, their life goes back to normal. Whilst the other goes on to suffer from nightmares or anxiety attacks.
It's not the incident itself that causes the negative emotion, it is the energy disruption we’ve experienced that affects our perception. It's our perception of the event that continues to trouble us. EFT identifies the problem by tuning in to it as we tap on recognised energy points. The energy blockage clears and balance is achieved so the memory remains but the emotional attachment is gone and we can look back objectively.
The great thing about EFT is that it can be used for EVERYTHING. The same procedure that is used for phobias and anxiety, is used for cravings, habits, physical pain, even to improve sporting performance.
It’s a fast and effective therapy for clearing limiting beliefs you may hold about yourself, clearing a pathway for you to move forward in life. For such a gentle approach, it has proved to have dramatic results. And again, I teach how to use EFT so that you can use it on yourself straight away.
